If you would like to submit a proposal to present at the Ohio Children's Alliance Annual Conference, please note the following important information:

  • Submission Deadline: Close of Business Monday, February 20, 2023
  • Announcement of workshops selected, Feb 28, 2023
  • Presenters must upload workshop materials no later than Friday, Mar 31, 2023
  • All proposals must be fully submitted electronically, including co-presenter information
  • Presenters must be able to present in-person at the Sheraton Columbus at Capitol Square, 75 East State Street.
  • Sessions are expected to be 60-75 minutes in length (1-1.25 Hours)
  • All presenters must agree to have their session recorded for use on the Alliance eLearning platform
  • Presenters will be encouraged to design their workshop to promote learners feeling comfortable, and include movement, interaction and active participation.

In the Workshop Proposals submission form, you will be required to provide the following information prior to clicking the final "submit" button.

When you are ready to start your Proposal Submission, Click the SUBMIT button below. The online form will save your information as you enter it, and you'll be able to log back in, and complete at any time, if you use the same login.  We will be unable to access your submission, and it is not considered submitted until you click the final submit button


  • Presenter(s) name, title, credentials and resume/bio
  • Lead presenter contact information (address, phone, website)
  • Title of workshop as it will appear in the Conference agenda (limit 50 characters, including spaces)
  • Three learning objectives
  • Identify all of the Child-Family Service Focus Areas your workshop will address
    • Best practices in Behavioral Health
    • Best practices in Child Welfare
    • Diversity Equity and Inclusion
    • Advancement in Trauma-Informed Care
    • Advocacy and Public Policy
    • Strategy, Innovation, Leadership
  • Workshop Description – not to exceed 750 words
  • Identify your workshop targeted audience as:
    • Beginner - looking for basic information and application
    • Intermediate - seeking to increase understanding and application
    • Advanced - familiar with research supported concepts and practices; seeking depth and specific application of concepts and practices
  • Lead Presenter bio (and co-presenters, if applicable) - upload where requested
